“ Daniel was the bomb! Super nice, attentive, pleasant, and more. Went for Mardi Gras. Ordered garlic butter seafood bake and blackened catfish. Also fried andouille corn dogs and beignets. Great evening with my husband. Please go. You won't be disappointed. ”
“ I was lucky enough to win a party box from Maxie’s, and I can’t wait to return to the restaurant. We had the b roasted chicken, cornbread, coleslaw and mashed potatoes. PHENOMENAL! It traveled and reheated so well! Everything was absolutely delicious. The vibe of the restaurant was super fun — relaxed and welcoming — and their patio is beyond perfect. The chef came out to explain the items and reheating (paper instructions were also included) and he was so sweet. And incredibly talented. Really an incredible experience. Thank you, and well can’t wait to return! ”

“ Been wanting to try this placed forever! Drinks were tasty, food came out in a timely manor and everything tasted amazing! Took the extra sauce from the bbq shrimp app and added it on the mac n cheese... great combo 3 Our server Daniel was very kind and had our meals split for us because we were sharing :) We will be back ”
“ Delicious food. Monday jazz concert was extremely enjoyable and the right balance of loud enough but not too loud. Server was friendly and apologized that their bar was a bit backed up that day. I had never been but will be coming back again. ”
“ FANTASTIC EXPEREINCE! This is an updated review. Our latest experience at Maxie's was fabulous. We dined on a Thursday night for my wife's birthday. We ordered the shareable seafood bake and the smoked brisket entre with bread pudding for dessert. My wife also had a hurricane that was perfectly made. Every food item from the baked beans with smoked pulled pork in them to the Arguli salad was super tasty and thoughtfully imagined. I had never eaten crawfish before, and they were delicious and plentiful in the seafood bake. The brisket was so tender it fell off the fork. The sauce on the brisket was sweet and tangy, not too spicy. The bread pudding was prepared with caramel and pecans topped with vanilla ice cream and was “comped” by our waiter for my wife’s birthday. It lived up to the rest of the meal and deserves a visit on its own. Our waiter Jonathan D. was super attentive, respectful, and a true professional. He made us feel like we were his only table through he had many others. You could tell that his main focus was to make sure we had a great experience. I noticed that Maxie’s now has 1 oysters during happy hour. Oyster size and price were my complaints on a prior visit and have now been rectified. Great job owners and staff, this is a truly classy establishment that deserves more than a few visits. ”
“ Amazing cozy place that has delicious Cajun style food and tasty drinks. Wonderful and friendly service. Manager came over and made sure everything was great and it was perfect. Plenty of parking. ”
“ Went for happy hour and ordered the oysters, shrimp, fried green tomatoes, and. Creole chicken meatballs. All were delicious. Daniel was our server and was very informative and hospitable. Will definitely be returning. ”
